The Parent Association is the structure through which parents/guardians in a school can work together for the best possible education for their children.
The I.S. 232 Parent Association (PA) comprises a dedicated team of parents, guided by an elected board. Our primary objective as parents is to collaborate in order to create a flourishing academic setting and offer enriching programs for all children, while fostering a robust I.S. 232 community.
The PA goals are:
- build a healthy and nurturing school community.
- cultivate a collaborative environment through effective communication.
- advocate for students and families
- update parents and families about the school
- plan and run activities for parents and families
The Parent Association meets on the last Tuesday of every month, alternating between in-person and remote meetings.
